Due to an increase in horse numbers, James Tate Racing requires a Full-Time Work Rider/Groom to join the team. One weekend in three. £570 per week plus Pool Money & Owner's Bonuses. Experience in a racing yard is essential. Good working conditions – usually finished by 11:00am in Summer and 11:30am in Winter. Lots of opportunities for overtime; extra lots available – pushes the salary up to approx £674 per week and still finished by 11:30am. Riding out on your Sunday mornings off (£60 for 2 hours) – potential weekly salary of £734.
Responsibilities:
- Riding (hacking/exercising) as required by the role.
- Working within the James Tate Racing team in a full-time capacity.
- Participating in weekend and overtime opportunities as outlined.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a racing yard is essential.
- Ability to ride and exercise horses; reliable and capable in a racing yard environment.
- Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.
