Sean Woods Racing is looking for a dedicated and experienced full‑time Exercise Rider / Groom to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Riding out three (occasionally four) lots each morning
  • Carrying out general horse & yard duties
  • Attending race meetings when your horse/s are running

Working Pattern

  • Week 1: Monday to Saturday mornings only
  • Week 2: Monday to Sunday mornings and afternoons
  • One week of afternoon duties off, alternating weekly

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a racing yard is essential
  • Confident and capable rider
  • Excellent horse handling and yard skills
  • Strong references required

Additional Information

  • We do not offer accommodation
  • Pets are allowed
  • Salary is a good salary plus racing expenses and pool money
