  • Deliver a variety of equestrian activities at Chariots of Fire Equestrian Centre near Lockerbie.
  • Work with children and adults, including individuals with disabilities and additional needs.
  • Train participants in riding (hacking/exercising), schooling, and carriage driving where required.
  • Collaborate with a small team and work independently as needed.
  • Willingness to learn carriage driving if not experienced already.
  • Share duties on a rota with other staff members; weekend and evening work is expected.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications: BHS 2/3 or equivalent; eg. Horsescotland Assistant L1 Coaching Certificate, UKCC or Horsescotland L1.
  • Driving license is essential.
  • Experience or interest in equine-assisted therapy is important.
  • Ability to work with a team and independently; good communication with children and adults, including those with disabilities.
