We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.

About your team: At British Gas Energy our ambition is to be Britain's favourite energy supplier. We’ve been powering the UK’s homes and businesses for over 200 years – but supplying energy is just part of what we do. We’re making the UK greener and more energy efficient, getting closer to Net Zero. By using clever tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels and EV chargers, we’re making it cheaper and easier for our customers to reduce their carbon-footprint.

At British Gas Business we are embarking on a large scale, multi-year transformation programme to underpin the delivery of our strategic objectives.

Providing a prioritised, accurate and coherent output that can support in decision making and ensure change processes are run efficiently.
  • Governance and Decision-Making: Managing the processes, creating the artefacts and implementing the frameworks that underpin the new BGB Design Authority and the BGB Transition Authority both internally and with external partners. This also involves working closely with the CX team on the maintenance and governance of the overall backlog of proposed customer journey improvements.
  • Planning and Management: Documenting and maintaining the BGB Transformation roadmap that outlines the vision, goals, and milestones of the BGB Transformation for the short, medium and long term. This includes timeline management and tracking key performance indicators to monitor progress and provide insight.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identifying, documenting, assessing, and managing key risks and issues that may arise. Ensuring that potential obstacles are addressed promptly to keep BGB’s transformation on track. Also managing and documenting dependencies across CX, Technology and the Transformation Team to ensure synchronisation.
  • Communication and Change Management: Supporting with the creation of engagement materials, plans and channels to ensure that all our stakeholders are kept informed and stay advocates. This includes facilitating forums, meetings and workshops, documenting and sharing outputs, tracking them through to completion.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Alongside the PMO team, reporting and analysing progress of overall transformation activity. This includes value tracking, supporting with RAID management and governance activities such as producing artefacts, reports and recommendations that aid stakeholders in decision making.
