Technical Repair Engineer – British Gas
Location: East Riding of Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom
As a Technical Repair Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated team ensuring British Gas customers receive timely and high-quality service.
You will attend service visits, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs on a range of boilers and central heating systems, supporting our commitment to a greener future.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service on every visit, embodying British Gas\’ Service Promise.
Attend annual service visits and break-down repairs, representing the company in customers\’ homes.
Diagnose and fault-find faults on various boiler types, including S-plan and Y-plan systems.
Apply electrical knowledge for wiring and fault-finding on combination systems.
Qualifications & Experience
Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1) or NVQ/C&G or equivalent in plumbing or heating.
Three years of qualified experience in fault finding and diagnosis.
Experience working across a range of boilers and central heating system manufacturers.
Salary & Benefits
Base Salary: £45,483 per annum with uncapped OTE – realistic expectation of £52,400 through field reward scheme.
