Job Description

Your mission is to help us mend it. At our award-winning academies, you’ll absorb the wisdom, grasp the skills, and earn the qualifications to emerge as a top-tier Smart Metering Engineer.\\n\\nSkills you need to succeed as a Smart Meter Engineer:\\n\\n * \\n\\n 4 GCSEs, ideally including Maths & English, at grade C/4 or above or a recognised equivalent\\n\\n * \\n\\n A carefully considered CV that shows you have a genuine passion for learning a trade, able to demonstrate that you are mechanically or technically minded, & love providing awesome customer service\\n\\n * \\n\\n A full UK driving licence with 6 points or less\\n\\n * \\n\\n Availability to attend training at one of our four UK academies – with accommodation and travel provided if needed.\\n\\nHere’s what's in it for you:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Starting salary of £15,435 rising to £18,743 at week 28, £22,050 (typically) at week 35, £23,877 (typically) at week 52, & £31,597(typically) at week 60 of your apprenticeship\\n\\n * \\n\\n Once you have completed the full programme and aftercare support (typically at week 76) your salary will increase to £37,104 with bonus and add ons on top.\\n\\n * \\n\\n We also offer London Weighting Allowance ranging from £4000 to £6000 (dependant on location) for living or starting your day within London.\\n\\n * \\n\\n An expensed electric van for you to use for work, including an EV charge point where applicable & charge card.\\n\\nImportant Notice Regarding 2025 Recruitment: We are planning extensive recruitment throughout 2025, across various locations. As such, start dates will be location dependent.
