About Your Role: Senior Credit & Debt Agent – British Gas Residential Energy As a Senior Credit & Debt Agent, you’ll support customers facing financial difficulty, resolving debt-related enquiries with empathy and efficiency. You’ll take ownership of each case, delivering one-stop resolutions that prioritise vulnerable customers’ needs. Working within a multiskilled team, you’ll collaborate with specialists to tackle complex issues, improve customer journeys, and help build long-term trust and loyalty. To excel in this role, you should have previous experience in credit and debt management or a solid background in financial services. If you have a strong foundation in customer service, we want to hear from you too! Important Details: Salary: £32,028 (37 hrs PW) + up to 16% annual bonus (paid quarterly). Department Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm; Saturday, 9am-2pm. (Saturday shift is mandatory with a rota day off during the week) Start Date: August 2025. Office Location: 40 Princes St, Edinburgh EH2 2BY You\'ll begin with eight weeks of in-office training, Monday to Friday, followed by around three months in our Edinburgh office as part of the Grad Bay phase. Once you\'ve successfully completed your probation, you\'ll have the flexibility to work from home, with just one day in the office every two weeks.
