About your team:
This role is based in Sandown - IOW. At British Gas, our mission is to sell it and mend it. We are the household heroes powering 1 in 3 homes in the UK – but supplying energy is just part of what we do. We are making the UK’s homes greener and more energy efficient, with our friends at Hive. By using their clever tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels and EV chargers, we are making it cheaper and easier to reduce your home’s carbon-footprint. And with our new Peak Save programme, we are actively rewarding better energy use too.

Being there for our customers is our priority. Base Salary is £44,044 with uncapped OTE through our fantastic field reward scheme. You will join a team that’s focused on putting smiles on our customers faces and keeping the nations homes warm for winter by installing and upgrading central heating systems. We are looking for engineers with extensive experience in full installations, upgrades, conversions, and other associated plumbing works.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- A natural dedicated focus on providing outstanding customer experience on every visit.
- Current ACS qualifications (CCN1 and CENWAT) or equivalent in plumbing or heating.
- 3 years qualified experience behind you of full system installations.
- Electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan and combination systems and boilers.
Why should you apply?

That’s why we’ve designed our total rewards to give you the flexibility to choose what you need, when you need it, making sure that you and your family are supported not only financially, but physically and emotionally too.
