Location: We're happy to talk about what flexibility looks like for you. We offer a blend of home and office working, with team time at our Windsor site when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the quarterly review of technical provisions.
  • Help assess assumptions and ensure robust actuarial outputs.
  • Assist in overseeing underwriting activities.
  • Support the Chief Actuary in forming opinions on underwriting and reinsurance strategies.
  • Contribute to broader risk management activities, including the ORSA process.
  • Support stress testing and scenario analysis.
  • Support PRA compliance, including horizon scanning and regulatory monitoring.
  • Contribute to maintaining a strong governance and risk framework.

Qualifications:

  • A part‑qualified actuary, progressing well through IFoA exams.
  • Experience within insurance (ideally GI), consultancy, or actuarial risk.
  • Good understanding of Solvency II / Solvency UK.
  • Curiosity and a desire to develop across multiple actuarial disciplines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset and confidence to operate in a second-line oversight role.
