About your team: At British Gas, our mission is to sell it and mend it. We’ve been powering the UK’s homes and businesses for over 200 years – but supplying energy is just part of what we do. We’re making the UK greener and more energy efficient, getting closer to Net Zero. By using clever tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels and EV chargers, we’re making it cheaper and easier for our customers to reduce their carbon footprint.

Overview: We’re looking for a Digital Product Manager to design world-class user experiences across our digital products in British Gas, ensuring they meet commercial goals and customer needs.

About The Role: Key accountabilities include:

  • Shape product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for Credit Energy across Core and Partner products.
  • Own and manage product backlogs, prioritising features and guiding delivery squads.
  • Drive development of seamless digital journeys and end-to-end customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, analysts, and commercial teams.
  • Gather and act on customer and partner feedback to improve NPS.
  • Monitor product performance, manage improvements and bug fixes.
  • Stay informed on market trends and share best practice.

Essential: What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in Digital Product Management, including backlog management, user stories, requirements, and agile delivery.
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and technology teams.
  • Data-driven decision-making with strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication – able to simplify technical concepts for varied audiences.
  • Solid technical understanding of web and mobile development.

Desirable: Experience in energy or eco-tech, large organisations, and Salesforce.
