We\βre offering an exciting opportunity for you to join our Finance team as a Finance Analyst in British Gas Services & Solutions. You\βll be responsible for forecasting and reporting Opex for our Change & Transformation function, while partnering closely with the team to provide insight and challenge business cases. This role gives you visibility of major change initiatives and the chance to influence outcomes through strong financial analysis and governance.
You\βll work with Finance Partners, Financial Control, and nurture relationships across the business. Expect to be in the office at least once a week (or more if you want to).
What you\βll be doing:
Build strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across Finance and the business
Understand business strategy and translate it into financial impact
Analyse profit, cashflow, risks, and opportunities
Deliver clear, insightful reporting and forecasting
Support finance transformation and process improvements
Provide performance analysis and support decision-making
What we\βre looking for:
A recognised accountancy qualification (or passed finalist)
Financial analysis experience (ideally), with strong planning and reporting skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills β able to co-operate at all levels
Analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
Strong IT skills (Excel, SAP, Power BI)
Interest in automation and new tools
