About the role
As an Apprentice Gas Service & Repair Engineer you will learn hands‑on engineering skills, work on our expert engineering teams, and support customers across the UK. Your day‑to‑day will involve meeting clients, diagnosing faults, restoring heating systems, and helping users operate their systems more efficiently and sustainably.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair gas service and heating systems.
- Provide safe and effective solutions to keep homes warm and energy‑efficient.
- Assist customers with system operation and troubleshooting.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate job records.
Qualifications
- 4 GCSEs (or Scottish Nat 5s) at grade C/4 or above, ideally including Maths and English, or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated technical or mechanical mindset and passion for learning a trade.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Availability to attend training at UK-wide academies, with accommodation and travel provided if required.
What we offer
- Starting salary of £19,307, rising with apprenticeship milestones.
- Upon completion of the programme, salary increases to £47,303 plus bonus and add-Ons.
- London Weighting Allowance £4,327‑£6,490 depending on location.
