Overview
Electrician role at British Gas. Join our team of experienced Field Engineers to ensure customers get help when they need it and support our Service Promise of same day fixes.
Base Salary is £39,797 with uncapped OTE – £54,991 is a realistic expectation through our field reward scheme.
As a British Gas Electrician, you will bring extensive experience in all aspects of domestic electrical work including fault finding, installation and rewires (minimum 2 years of qualified experience). Your customer service skills and ability to solve problems will enable you to diagnose defects and work safely to ensure a first-time fix, while promoting British Gas products and services by giving professional advice.
Responsibilities and role scope
Be part of the team of Field Engineers to support customers, aligning with British Gas service standards and delivering reliable same-day support where possible.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2365 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent), culminating in a Level 3 Technical Certificate including the National Electrotechnical Training (NET) AM2 certificate.
- Evidence of working in the electrical industry.
- Up to date City & Guilds 2382 – B.S. 7671 IET Wiring Regulations certificate.
- A City and Guilds 2391.52 (or equivalent) would be desirable.
