Responsibilities include managing rotas and budgeting with essential Excel knowledge. Close attention to detail is required to implement and manage all aspects of company policy and procedures such as EPOS, stock management, health & safety, security & cash handling. Keyholder duties and management responsibilities involve delivering all KPIs, costs, and budgeting, as well as colleague development and succession planning. This includes delivering colleague engagement and training, ordering, and stock taking, while ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications: We are looking for a Garden Centre Manager to join our forward-thinking team. This role is in a high-volume environment with a fast turnaround. The successful candidate should have proven managerial experience and be physically fit, as this is a very hands-on role that may require some heavy lifting. A highly motivated individual with a passion for exceptional retail standards, driving sales, and great customer service is essential. Previous Garden Centre Management experience at either centre manager or deputy manager level is required. The ability to motivate a team of managers and supervisors to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines is crucial. Plant knowledge is preferable.

As a Garden Centre Manager, you will manage, lead, inspire, and develop an amazing team, ensuring all customers have a great in-store experience.
