Contract: Permanent, Full Time (45 hours per week, including weekends)

British Garden Centres family group of over 75 Garden Centres are seeking a Regional Restaurant Manager to lead an area comprising multiple restaurant locations. The role involves strategic growth, financial performance management, brand and operational consistency, staff development, high‐level problem solving, policy implementation, training, and regional marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational excellence: monitor and improve daily performance of multiple restaurants to meet brand standards.
  • Financial performance: set and review budgets, analyse sales data, and implement strategies to increase profitability.
  • Team leadership & development: recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate Restaurant General Managers and address skill gaps.
  • Compliance & safety: ensure all locations adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and health and safety requirements.
  • Customer experience: drive high standards of service and address high-level guest feedback or complaints.
  • Marketing and strategy: implement regional marketing campaigns and develop commercial partnerships.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a hospitality area manager.
  • Track record of region‐wide sales growth.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety, and auditing.
  • Ability to lead a team, recruit and induct new starters in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Passion for food and attention to detail.
  • IT literate with ability to comply with systems and processes.
  • Valid driving licence and own car.
  • Willingness to travel between sites frequently.
