Full Time – 40 Hours Per Week – Monday to Friday
British Garden Centre is looking for a transport compliance administrator who will manage administrative tasks that ensure the company’s transport operations meet legal and internal standards. Key duties include scheduling vehicle maintenance like MOTs and calibrations, managing driver and vehicle documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations such as driver hours, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
This role involves record-keeping, reporting, and administrative support for the transport and fleet manager.
The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge in Transport Compliance Administration.

Knowledge And Skills
- Experience working in a Transport environment
- Experience with Transport compliance
- Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy, including knowing how to use scanners and relevant software programs such as Transport management systems.
- Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills to coordinate vehicle servicing and maintenance.
Duty Includes
- Booking vehicle services, MOTs, LOLER inspections
- Getting vehicle defects rectified and back on the road in a timely manner
- Updating driver training matrix and sending notifications to stores/employees
- Ensuring efficient operations adherence to operational procedures, rules and schedules
- Reporting & investigating any accidents / damages to vehicles
- Updating vehicle mileages and fuel usage
- Updating KPI’s and reports to the Senior Management Team
