We are currently looking for a Help Desk Assistant to work in our customer focused fast paced Garden Centre. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, have excellent people skills and take pride in managing the Centre in the Centre Manager's absence. This is a very hands-on role and as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and have good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include:
- Being responsible for banking and cashing up.
- Opening and closing the Garden Centre where required.
- Providing high standards of customer service and ensuring customers always leave happy.
- Taking charge of general admin and keeping paperwork up to date.
- Overseeing the Centre's Social Media.
- Any other tasks required in the Garden Centre.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good attention to detail.
- Good communicator and strong customer service skills.
- Computer literate with good administration skills along with knowledge of using Social Media.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Flexible and trustworthy.
- Must be flexible in terms of hours and days worked.
