Overview

Restaurant Team Members – Part Time 6 Hours per Week, predominantly weekends, flexible temporary position. At British Garden Centres we aim to deliver a great experience in our centres and provide an exceptional dining experience as well.

We have a great opportunity for Restaurant Team Members to join our friendly Restaurant. You will help bring our food and restaurant to life for our guests to remember. You must be fully flexible; hours involve weekend work. A computerised tilling system may be used. You will perform usual duties associated with working in a busy restaurant.

Main Duties

  • Replenishing drinks and condiments
  • Making coffees
  • Serving customers
  • Running food
  • Pot wash
  • Clearing and wiping tables
  • Adhering to Health & Safety standards
  • Changing bins
  • Cleaning toilets

Requirements / Experience

  • Must be friendly and confident for a customer facing role
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Able to adapt to the demands and speed of the business at peak trading times
  • Experience in a fast-paced food business or coffee shop setting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of COSHH and food standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Professional and reliable
  • Remain calm under pressure
