Please note Reactive weekend cover is required for emergency repairs and maintenance, 12 weekends of the year (flexible/hybrid for weekend work only).

Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and reliable individual with an interest in the Restaurant Operations sector to join our team. This is an office-based role that requires frequent computer and telephone use to assist in coordinating contractors and sourcing materials to support repairs and maintenance across our garden centres. Experience working in procurement, service support & contract management is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Key responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials required for ongoing repairs and maintenance work.
- Coordinate with contractors, ensuring they meet quality and compliance standards.
- Maintain clear communication with garden centre teams to address site specific needs.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing for materials.
- Carry out and document checks to maintain compliance standards.
- Ensure all health and safety (H&S) records are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications and skills:
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Problem‑solving mind‑set and use one’s initiative.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Positive, forward‑thinking attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office SUITE (Word, Excel, Outlook).
