Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Restaurant Office Systems Administrator who will manage the technological infrastructure and data systems within a restaurant, ensuring smooth operation of both office and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- System Management:
Overseeing and maintaining restaurant computer systems, POS terminals, and related hardware and software.
- Data Management:
Ensuring accurate and efficient data entry, processing, and reporting from various systems, including inventory, sales, and customer data.
- Technical Support:
Providing first-level technical support to restaurant staff, troubleshooting issues related to POS systems, computers, and other technology.
- Security:
Implementing and maintaining security protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access to systems.
- Inventory Management:
Supporting the purchasing and inventory management systems, including tracking stock levels and assisting with orders.
- Financial Administration:
Assisting with invoice processing, payment management, and other financial tasks, often within specific restaurant management software.
- Data Entry and Reporting:
Inputting data from various sources into the system and generating reports for management.
About you
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with document control systems or SharePoint would be ideal but not essential.
