We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our large Garden Centre Group. The successful candidate will be expected to complete home deliveries so should be physically fit as this is a very hands-on role and you will need to handle large and heavy loads. Working Monday, Wednesday & Fridays. Experience in retail is essential to the role as is good customer service. Over 25 Full clean driving licence essential.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a full, clean driving licence.
  • Be comfortable driving large vehicles.
  • Be experienced in a retail environment.
  • Have a friendly and positive attitude, providing a great customer experience at point of delivery.
  • Be flexible as some weekend working will be required.
  • Have good organisational skills.

Duties will include:

  • Loading of customer orders on the van in a safe and timely manner ensuring products are wrapped and secured efficiently.
  • Planning of routes beforehand.
  • Stock/fixture transfers between stores when required.
  • Maintenance and due diligence check of delivery van.
  • Other duties as required around the Centre.
