Working Days

Monday to Friday and occasional weekend work on a rota basis

Woodthorpe Leisure Park is a prestigious 5-star holiday park, family owned and beautifully located on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, just 10 minutes inland from the coast.

Open all year round, the park offers an exceptional range of facilities including a convenience shop, pub, restaurant, function room, 18-hole golf course, driving range, fishing lakes, and extensive holiday accommodation.

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Greens keeper to join our friendly Grounds Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working outdoors in a beautiful parkland setting.

Our 18-hole golf course is at the heart of the park, and we’re looking for someone who will help ensure it remains in excellent condition for members and visitors alike.

Hours

Hours may vary seasonally to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily maintenance of the 18-hole golf course.
  • Mowing greens, tees, fairways, roughs and surrounding areas.
  • Setting holes and moving tee markers.
  • Bunker maintenance and raking.
  • Strimming, edging and general landscaping.
  • Leaf clearance and seasonal maintenance.
  • Applying fertilisers, top dressing and other turf treatments (training provided where required).
  • Operating and maintaining a range of grounds machinery safely.
  • Assisting with irrigation systems and course presentation.
  • Maintaining pathways, signage and course furniture.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Pride in maintaining exceptional standards.
  • Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture or golf course experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience operating grounds maintenance machinery is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
