Garden Centre Shop Manager – Full Time 40 Hours Per Week – Including Weekends – Full Flexible

Requirements of the Role
- An inspirational leader for Centre staff ensuring that they receive clear direction and performance management within a culture of coaching and mentoring.
- Highly commercial and results driven with a proven track record in a management position.
- Positive and strong communicator and a skilled motivational people manager.
- Accountable for providing great customer service and have a keen eye for detail around the consumers’ experience in the Centre.
- A solution orientated thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Duties include
- Day to day running of the Shop in the Garden Centre
- Deputizing for the Centre Manager in their absence
- Duty Management
- Co-ordination of deployment of team
- Managing cash/ till operations
- Merchandising and building seasonal displays
- Key holder responsibilities to assist with opening and closing of the centres
