We are looking for an EPOS Team Lead to join our fast‑paced and customer‑focused Centre. This is a key role within our operation, and we are seeking someone who is highly motivated, approachable, and confident in leading by example. You will bring excellent people skills, a positive “can‑do” attitude, and a strong eye for detail. As this is a hands‑on leadership position, you will need to be proactive, organised, and an effective communicator. You will oversee the day‑to‑day running of the EPOS function, supporting your team to deliver accurate stock management and smooth operational processes. Full training will be provided where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the EPOS team to ensure efficient and accurate stock processing
- Oversee the booking‑in of orders and ensure all EPOS procedures are followed
- Manage and monitor all aspects of the EPOS system across the Centre
- Take responsibility for incoming deliveries and ensure timely receipting using HHT
- Oversee pricing, sorting, and allocation of stock
- Conduct system checks to ensure delivery accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain ownership of delivery notes and ensure correct filing
- Manage and maintain the paperless invoice system
- Support continuous improvement across EPOS and stock control processes
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an EPOS or stock management role, ideally within a large multi‑site retail environment
- Experience supervising or guiding a small team is desirable
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and ensure tasks are completed to a high standard
- A proactive, right‑first‑time approach with a positive attitude
- Confident IT user with good working knowledge of Excel
- General IT understanding; experience with stock control databases is an advantage
