Full Time 30 Hours per Week - Fully Flexible - Requires Weekend working. We are looking ideally for an experienced Deputy Restaurant Manager or talented highly motivated supervisor who is ready to take on a much bigger role. Someone who has a passion for creating & serving excellent food as well as superb organisational skills. You will have proven capabilities for running a successful restaurant/kitchen and promoting OUTSTANDING customer service. You must be enthusiastic and have the desire to pro-actively develop the business. This is a hands-on role where teamwork and communication are vital.
The main function of the Deputy Restaurant Manager is to oversee staff, ensure that the day to day business operation runs smoothly. In addition, you will perform the duties and responsibilities for the Restaurant Manager in their absence. You will also take responsibility for your own development and that of your subordinates. Candidate needs to have at least 2 years' experience in a leadership role.

The Ideal candidate will:
- Have had previous experience working in a busy hospitality venue.
- Have a thorough understanding of allergens and food safety principles and HACCP.
- Have excellent communication skills and be passionate about working as part of a team.
- Have reasonable IT skills (Email, Word, Excel etc).
- Be flexible in terms of days and hours worked to meet business demands.
- Evidence solid leadership qualities with an ability to engage with a large team to drive service and standards.
- Show professionalism and reliability, with excellent time management.
- Remain calm under pressure, remaining friendly & confident for this customer facing role.
Duties Include (But not exclusive):
- Organising and optimising team schedules.
- Evaluating employee performance and providing training and guidance as needed.
- Managing various specific initiatives, ensuring that these are completed within the scope, time and budget.
- Filling in for absent employees and assisting teams as needed to successfully complete projects.
- Ensuring that employees follow company policies, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Ensuring an exceptional and consistent standard of customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and food safety laws and regulations.
- Manage Social Media - Facebook & Guest Feedback.
- Deputise in the absence of the Manager.
