We are looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to support the smooth, safe, and compliant running of our warehouse, transport, and material‑handling operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring stock moves efficiently through the warehouse, vehicles and MHE are maintained, and accurate data supports every decision we make. You’ll be the link between warehouse operations, drivers, suppliers, and internal teams—helping to keep everything running safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or transport coordination role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes, stock control, and goods‑in/goods‑out procedures.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, MHE equipment, and basic transport compliance.
  • Confident communicator, able to work professionally with drivers, warehouse teams, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Excellent administrative skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience using warehouse, fleet, or logistics management systems.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective when dealing with breakdowns, delays, or operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day‑to‑day running of the warehouse, ensuring safe, organised, and efficient operations.
  • Assist with goods‑in and goods‑out processes, ensuring accurate recording and movement of stock.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse documentation, including delivery notes, stock movement records, and audit files.
  • Support stocktakes, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy checks.
  • Monitor warehouse housekeeping standards, ensuring the environment remains clean, safe, and compliant.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and wider team to support continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
  • Maintain accurate records for all vehicle and MHE servicing, inspections, defects, and maintenance schedules.
  • Liaise with approved suppliers, service providers, and repair agents to arrange planned maintenance and manage unplanned repairs.
  • Coordinate responses to vehicle and equipment breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Act as the central point of contact for drivers, offering day‑to‑day support and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor driver behaviour and fuel usage, analysing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with compliance documentation including MOTs, inspections, servicing records, and operator licence requirements.
  • Support initiatives that enhance safety, compliance, and cost control across the fleet.
  • Update and maintain the warehouse and logistics database with accurate, real‑time information.
  • Provide efficient and effective support when handling internal and external customer queries.
  • Communicate clearly with internal departments to support smooth logistics, warehouse, and distribution operations.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment within the warehouse and logistics team.
