We are looking for a Garden Centre Manager to join our forward-thinking team. This is a high-volume environment with a fast turnaround.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Proven managerial experience
  • Physical fitness as this is a very hands-on role and some heavy lifting may be required
  • A passion for exceptional retail standards, driving sales, and great customer service
  • Previous Garden Centre Management experience either at centre manager or deputy manager level
  • The ability to motivate a team of managers and supervisors to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
  • Plant knowledge (preferable)

As a Garden Centre Manager, you will manage, lead, inspire, and develop an amazing team, ensuring all customers have a great in-store experience.

Duties will include:

  • Excel knowledge essential in order to manage rotas and budgeting
  • Close attention to detail required to implement and manage all aspects of company policy and procedures such as EPOS, stock management, health & safety, security & cash handling
  • Keyholder duties
  • Management duties
  • Delivering all KPI's, costs, and budgeting
  • Colleague development and succession planning
  • Delivering colleague engagement and training
  • Ordering and stock taking
  • Excellent customer service
