We are looking for a Horticultural Manager to join our forward-thinking team. Working in the Garden Centre, this is a high-volume environment with a fast turnaround.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the plant area.
  • Supervising duties including key holder opening and closing store as required.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Organising team schedules and addressing any staff issues.
  • Evaluating employee performance and providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Filling in for absent employees and assisting teams as needed to successfully complete projects.
  • Ensuring that employees follow company policies as well as health and safety regulations.
  • Ensuring a high and consistent standard of customer service.
  • Business compliance in accordance with Health and Safety and food safety laws and regulations.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Proven managerial experience.
  • Physically fit as this is a very hands-on role and some heavy lifting may be required.
  • A highly motivated individual with a passion for exceptional retail standards, driving sales, and great customer service.
  • Management experience and 2 years of plant knowledge are a must; previous work within horticulture is required.
