We are looking for a Philanthropy Coordinator (Strategy & Campaigns) to join the BFI’s Philanthropy team. The Coordinator will be responsible for providing essential and efficient administrative support to the team and play a vital role in the planning and implementation of new and existing philanthropic campaigns and appeals. The Fundraising & Enterprise team is responsible for delivering significant income growth to support the BFI’s year-round charitable activities and the ambitions of our 10-year Screen Culture 2033 strategy. This new role within the Philanthropy, Strategy & Campaigns (PSC) side of the department will directly support the successful delivery of growth targets for BFI Campaigns & Appeals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide key support to the Head of Strategy & Campaigns and the Philanthropy Manager, Strategy and Campaigns to develop and deliver the annual Campaigns fundraising strategy and associated targets.
  • Lead the day-to-day administration of the BFI’s fundraising campaigns and incoming donations across all BFI channels.
  • Provide key administrative support for work relating to campaigns fundraising including project management support, coordinating necessary internal and external communications and information sharing, coordinating deadline management, organising meetings and workshops, booking rooms and preparing papers and minutes.
  • Coordinate the Strategy & Campaigns team’s use of the Raiser’s Edge database to support fundraising activity.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience of using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • An interest in individual giving
  • Demonstrable experience of persuasive writing skills, ideally with a view to recruiting donations
  • Demonstrable experience of coordinating project and team administration
  • The ability to work collaboratively and professionally with colleagues and externally, at all levels
