British Engines Group company, CMP Products, is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of cable glands, cable cleats and cable accessories.
CMP manufactures its products from three facilities based in Cramlington, Northumberland, and has a global distribution network, supported by ten offices spread across six continents from Houston, USA, to Busan, South Korea.
We’re on the lookout for a Multimedia and Creative Design Specialist to join our Marketing Team.
This is a pivotal, highly visible role.
You’ll be the creative force turning complex products into compelling stories that drive awareness, engagement and conversion across every customer touchpoint.
Working closely with our technical and product teams, you’ll transform complex technical information into clear, compelling visual content that helps customers understand our products and their benefits.
From designing impactful presentations and digital marketing assets to creating high-quality product renders, you’ll play a key role in how our products are communicated across every customer touchpoint.

- What you'll be doing
- Leading the creation of engaging, high-impact presentations and sales collateral that communicate our products clearly and effectively to new and existing customers.
- Creating marketing assets including brochures, digital graphics, exhibition materials and sales collateral.
- Partnering with technical teams to translate complex specifications and product benefits into accessible, visually compelling formats.
- Adapting content across platforms, digital marketing channels, webinars, partner meetings and beyond.
- Using Solid Works or a preferred CAD system to build high-quality product renders for brochures, leaflets, adverts and slide decks. Full training will be provided.
- Managing relationships with external creative and communications agencies to ensure timely delivery of animations, brochures and other content.
- Gathering and acting on feedback from stakeholders and audiences to continually sharpen presentation impact.
- Continuously improving our visual communications by adopting new design techniques, presentation tools and AI-assisted creative technologies.
- Who we're looking for
You’re a creative, technically minded designer with a genuine passion for visual storytelling.
You’ve got proven experience creating content for a range of channels, ideally in a product-led or technical environment, and you’re confident turning complicated information into something clear and visually striking.
A strong portfolio is key, as this will form a central part of the selection process.
You’ll have advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly In Design, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Experience in After Effects and Premiere Pro being desirable.
You’ll also have experience creating multimedia content, including presentations, digital graphics and, where appropriate, video or simple motion graphics.
Experience with Solid Works Visualize Professional or Composer would be a bonus rather than a requirement, as full training will be provided.
You’ll be comfortable collaborating with product and technical teams, balancing accuracy with creative impact.
A degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Studies or similar is welcome, but strong commercial experience and portfolio work are equally valued.
You’ll be highly organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail, working self-sufficiently when needed while also thriving as part of a collaborative, ambitious marketing team.
