Our infrastructure division is crucial to the safety of key civil infrastructure across the UK and beyond. Our specialist team are experts not only in completing the most thorough inspections on critical structures such as railway bridges, but also in accessing some of the most challenging locations. What will you be doing?
As a Bid Co-ordinator for BES Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the management of all Tenders and their timely submissions. You will also be responsible for ensuring Sub-Contractors have been sourced correctly and manage the supply chain procurement process.
You will:

Manage incoming opportunities and pipeline of bids and provide regular updates of timescales to the Head of Commercial/Estimating.

Liaise and support Business Development Managers with regards to new opportunities and co-ordination of bids and updates.

Project manage and incorporate input from Business Development Managers, estimators, technical experts and wider team as necessary, to ensure a consistent and coherent final bid against scoring criteria.

Analyse, coordinate, write and develop comprehensive PQQ/ITT responses incorporating the requirements of the specification, within strict timescales

Review and amend draft bids, considering feedback from the wider team. Quality assure, re-write for consistency/correct grammar as necessary and provide constructive feedback to ensure meaningful and succinct information is obtained.

Maintain bid library – information on previous responses, lessons learnt, CVs and monthly bid statistics for reporting to management.

Experience of co-ordinating successful bid submissions

Strong MS Office Skills and IT Literacy

Proof reading skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail

Contribute openly to the team with innovations and ideas to ensure the success and development of the company

A confirmed working history that demonstrates excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities

Experience in best practice bid management, including experience of bid planning; content planning; corporate governance; and the production and submission of compelling submissions.
