Our Finance Team is a core function, managing a wide range of responsibilities including financial accounting, management accounting, finance business partnering, accounts payable, credit control, and payroll. We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Accounts Payable Manager to join our brilliant team.
You will oversee the full end-to-end accounts payable function across multiple entities, ensuring invoices, payments and reconciliations are processed accurately and efficiently. You will lead and develop a small AP team while driving process improvement and supporting continued business growth.
- Manage the full accounts payable process across multiple BES Group companies
- Lead, support and develop a team of four AP colleagues
- Ensure accurate and timely invoice and payment processing across several finance systems
- Oversee supplier reconciliations and resolve complex queries
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance
- Act as the main point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including audit requirements
- Drive automation, standardisation and continuous improvement across AP processes
- Lead the onboarding and integration of new companies into Group AP processes
- Work collaboratively with Finance, IT and local teams to enable smooth integrations
- Monitor KPIs and prepare management reporting, including payment performance and cash-outflow forecasting

To join our team, you will need:
- Proven experience in an AP Manager or AP Team Leader role, ideally in a multi-entity environment
- Effective leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Confident communicator able to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (desirable)
- Confidence working with accounting systems such as SAGE 200 or Xero
- Strong Excel skills
