To be considered for this role you will live within and be happy traveling across the Greater Manchester areas.
Role and Responsibilities
- As a Fixed Wire Tester (Housing) for BES Electrical, you will carry out electrical testing within the social housing industry in the North West and Yorkshire area.
- You will undertake electrical testing in domestic and communal areas and carry out remedial works identified.
- Work individually or as part of a team undertaking high quality electrical repairs, testing and/or remedial works as required.
- Comply with BS7671 standards and company standards of work performance, ensuring implementation and compliance within electrical policies and procedures.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilise CRM system and reporting software to accurately record electrical documentation.
- Carry out electrical condition reporting, repairs and installations to the highest standards.
- Liaise with tenants, customers and members of our supply chain.
- Maintain van stocks and provide information enabling the improvements of first-time fixes for the area you work within.

Qualifications
- Qualifications including: NVQ Level 3 Qualification in electrical installation work e.g. C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (2394 / 2395)
- BS7671 18th edition (or willing to achieve this before starting role)
- Demonstrate a positive, diverse and inclusive attitude to internal and external customers and colleagues
- Flexible approach to working; able and willing to work overtime to cover workloads during busy periods
- Hard-working, conscientious Electrician delivering a great service to our client base
- Good level of computer literacy
- Full driving licence held for 12 months minimum
