You will work closely with senior stakeholders, regional teams, consultants, and shared services to support opportunity qualification, bid governance, and successful submissions that drive sustainable growth.
This role is pivotal in strengthening our commercial capability by improving bid quality, increasing conversion rates, and modernising proposal processes to support our global mission of educational transformation.
As Bid Content Manager, you will lead the end to end production of high quality, compliant bids that support growth across the Partnership for Education. You will manage complex submission processes, ensuring deadlines, governance requirements, and quality standards are consistently met, while maintaining a clear, compelling "one voice" narrative throughout.
Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:
- Working closely with senior stakeholders, technical experts, and commercial teams across Cambridge University Press & Assessment and the wider University of Cambridge to coordinate inputs and translate them into persuasive, strategically aligned proposals.
- Driving continuous improvement by developing standardised templates, content libraries, and innovative AI enabled tools to modernise bid operations, improve efficiency, and increase conversion rates across priority markets.
As a Bid Content Manager, you are an experienced bid professional/project manager with a strong track record of delivering compliant, high‐impact submissions in complex and fast‐paced environments. You bring excellent writing and content leadership skills, with the ability to shape detailed technical and academic material into clear, persuasive narratives tailored to donor and client requirements.
Highly organised and confident working independently, you are comfortable managing multiple priorities, influencing senior stakeholders, and coordinating contributors across geographies. You combine commercial awareness with strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions‐focused mindset. Digitally confident, you are keen to explore AI, automation, and innovative approaches to improve quality and efficiency. Collaborative, culturally aware, and diplomatic, you thrive in values‐driven organisations with a global outlook.
If you meet the above minimum requirements, we encourage you to apply. Your application will be even stronger if you can also demonstrate the following desirable criteria:
- An experienced bids professional with a strong track record of delivering compliant, high quality submissions in complex environments.
- An excellent writer and content lead, able to shape technical and academic inputs into clear, compelling, and persuasive narratives.
- Highly organised, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple bids with competing deadlines.
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders and coordinating contributors across regions and functions.
- Commercially aware, with experience supporting bid governance, qualification, and sign‐off processes.
- Digitally confident, with a strong interest in AI, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Proactive, solutions focused, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- Culturally aware and diplomatic, with experience working in international or cross cultural contexts.
Rewards and benefits include 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, private medical and Permanent Health Insurance, discretionary annual bonus, and life assurance up to 4 x annual salary.
