About us Adventure Bike Rider (ABR) is the UK's leading adventure motorcycle magazine, and the ABR Festival is the country's largest motorcycle festival, bringing 17,000+ riders to Ragley Hall in Warwickshire each June. Our audience is loyal, vocal, and fast-growing. We want someone with creativity and business sense to elevate our social presence.
The role This isn't a 'schedule posts and log off' job. You'll manage our brands' voice, growth, and engagement across social media. That means building real communities, creating content people want to share, and running campaigns that drive ticket sales, subscriptions, and brand growth. If you enjoy seeing your work create real results, not just vanity metrics, you'll thrive here.
What you'll be doing On a daily basis, you will oversee our social content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Responsibilities include developing dynamic content formats, such as Reels, shorts, stories, carousels, and behind-the-scenes footage. You will actively build and nurture our online communities, focusing on fostering real conversations in the ABR Festival Facebook Group. You will plan and execute comprehensive social campaigns for ticket launches, merchandise drops, major festival moments, and editorial initiatives. Your tasks include managing paid social advertising from initial concept to creative production, audience targeting, and performance reporting. You will work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to coordinate campaigns for launches, announcements, and key brand moments. At the ABR Festival and other major events, you are responsible for capturing live content, coordinating real-time event coverage, and collaborating with creators and partners on-site. Track performance rigorously and turn data into real improvement.
What we're looking for This is not an entry-level role. We want razor-sharp instinct, taste, and business sense. You’ll need proven experience in social media management and a strong understanding of community building, not just follower counts. We want a creative thinker who comes up with new formats, angles, and series ideas, and who’s confident in using video as a primary medium. Experience with paid social ads and campaign management is a plus, and you’ll need to know what good copy looks like and be able to write it. You should be commercially minded, and you’ll understand how good content ties back to sales, tickets, and brand growth.
What you won’t be doing You won’t be mindlessly queuing posts or copying templates. We want fire and vision, not a content-bot. If you bring bold ideas and make things happen, you’ll fit right in.
What’s in it for you? You’ll shape the social presence and community around the UK's biggest motorcycle festival and one of the world's biggest adventure motorcycling brands. You’ll have real creative freedom across media, events, products, and live experiences. You’ll see your work immediately reflected in ticket sales, engagement, and growth. And you’ll be part of a small, ambitious team that moves quickly and backs bold ideas.
