Reporting to the Head of Creative, this is a key position managing a small team who are required to deliver all marketing activities for both motorcycle and cycle business. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate confidence, initiative and attention to detail in a busy and fast-moving work environment. They will have the ability to work fluidly with other departments in order to establish priorities and collate information and to lead their team to deliver timely and effective communication. Good inter-departmental communication is the key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing, motivating and developing a team of 3-4 staff to deliver images, video, copy, social media and all other marketing communications and activities.
- Managing the company’s involvement in national and international shows and events (involves travel), as well as running internal events and maintaining a UK showroom to the highest standards.
- Creating and leveraging, in conjunction with other stakeholders, results from Oxford’s sponsorship and racing activities.
- Planning and running of on- and off-site photoshoots.
- Coordination of press activities, including sample distribution and resulting coverage.
- Developing a sustainable, consistent and deliverable social media strategy.
- Managing team uniform and one-off merchandise projects.
- Monthly reporting to the Board of Directors on activities including press results, social media, racing etc.
- Build and maintain a positive and reliable relationship with other departments.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years’ marketing experience in a relevant marketing role.
- A motivational, flexible, friendly and proactive approach to management.
- Excellent organisational skills and a good eye for detail.
- Proficiency in all relevant computer programmes and applications.
- Preferably, some experience in the motorcycle, bicycle or automotive industry and a motorcycle licence.
