In depth planning of projects.

Assisting the sales function with technical specifications for tender documentation when required.
Test & Installation (understanding of, sometimes involvement).
Wiring cryogenic instruments to contract specification.

Installing systems as and when required Worldwide.
Using, designing and developing processes to enhance products and improve the company performance.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Physics or Engineering degree minimum.
- Product engineering experience within an R&D or scientific environment.
- Experience in the use of cryogenic equipment.
- Working knowledge of cryogenic system design.
WIRING TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY
As a wiring technician at ICE, you will be involved in the wiring of some of the world’s leading cryogenic equipment, this will involve a high level of detail within any low temperature cryostat or probes. This can consist of very intricate and fine wiring.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wiring of products in line with QA System and drawings.
- Maintain a tidy and clean workshop.
- Completing modifications & DMR’S as necessary and communicating to D.O.
- Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are always followed.
- Maintain quality in line with company expectations.
- Repair of products/projects on customer site if required.
- You are required to be flexible with working outside of normal hours at peak production times. This may include evenings and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- An understanding of simple electronic drawings and tables and intricate wiring techniques.
- Basic computer skills, i.e. Teams, Excel, Word.
- Knowledge of soldering small components.
