Help make Erasmus+ more inclusive across the UK. The British Council is the UK's National Agency for Erasmus+, helping learners, educators and organisations build international partnerships and create life-changing opportunities. We're looking for an Inclusion Manager to play a key role in delivering the Erasmus+ Inclusion and Diversity Strategy, ensuring that the programme remains accessible to people from all backgrounds, particularly those with fewer opportunities. This role supports the delivery of inclusion initiatives, develops guidance and training, builds relationships with stakeholders and helps embed inclusive practice throughout the Erasmus+ programme.
What you'll be doing
- Support the delivery and monitoring of the Erasmus+ Inclusion and Diversity Strategy.
- Coordinate training and capacity-building activities for National Agency colleagues, assessors and beneficiaries.
- Develop guidance, resources and best practice to support inclusive programme delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the education, training, youth and sport sectors.
- Coordinate the Inclusion and Diversity Working Group and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
- Support marketing and sector engagement activities from an inclusion and diversity perspective.
- Monitor progress against inclusion and social value action plans and contribute to programme reporting.
- Promote equality, diversity, inclusion and anti-racism across programme delivery.
About You
We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for inclusion and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders. You'll bring:
- A good understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion, particularly within education, training, youth or sport.
- Experience supporting stakeholders or delivery partners to embed inclusive practice.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Experience planning and delivering workshops, training or events.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to use data and evidence to inform decision-making.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and sharing good practice.
