Role Purpose
Support the operational delivery and coordination of digital systems, participant-facing platforms, and digitally enabled activities across the International Student Mobility (ISM) programme. Working closely with programme teams, the role will ensure the effective coordination of systems, processes, and participant engagement throughout the student mobility journey. The post holder will work flexibly across digital delivery and engagement activities, helping to enhance programme operations, improve participant experience, and drive continuous improvement across digital platforms and systems.
The International Student Mobility (ISM) programme brings together the British Council's work with international UK alumni, education agents and counsellors, and the Study UK campaign, which promotes the UK as a study destination. These three components are being integrated into a coherent global programme with a unified theory of change, joined-up operational framework, and strengthened strategic alignment.
Role Accountabilities
- Digital Delivery and Operational Support
- Support the day-to-day delivery and coordination of digital systems, participant-facing platforms, and digitally enabled activities across the International Student Mobility (ISM) programme.
- Contribute to the effective operation of programme systems and workflows through implementation support, system administration, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with programme teams to coordinate participant-facing activities and digital delivery processes, while helping to enhance programme operations, improve participant experience, and drive continuous improvement across systems and platforms.
- Reporting and Governance
- Support programme reporting, operational coordination, and data management activities across a range of systems and platforms.
- Maintain strong governance standards by supporting safeguarding, compliance, data protection, and risk management requirements within digital delivery activities.
- Contribute to accurate reporting, effective programme administration, and the smooth running of programme operations.

- Professional qualification or recognised training in digital delivery, project coordination or operational support, or equivalent professional experience.

- Strong organisational, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple activities.

- Ability to support implementation and day-to-day operational use of digital systems and workflows.
- Understanding of governance, safeguarding, compliance and data protection considerations relating to digital systems and participant data.

- Experience supporting participant engagement or digitally enabled programme activity within complex organisations.
- Experience working within international education, cultural relations, international development or similarly complex partnership environments.
- Experience working with CRM, participant engagement or operational reporting platforms.
