The British Council GREAT Scholarship is a popular scholarship in UK universities. It is open to international students to pursue a Master’s degree programme from one of the leading British universities. The duration of the scholarship is one year. For the 2026/27 academic year, there are 200 GREAT Scholarships available in more than 70 UK universities in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
To apply for the UK GREAT Scholarship, select a UK university that offers GREAT Scholarships and aligns with your academic interests. There is no application fee to apply for the GREAT Scholarship. The GREAT Scholarship is jointly funded by the UK Government, GREAT Britain Campaign, and the British Council with participating UK higher educational institutes.
