Working as part of a collaborative small team, and alongside the Director of Development, you’ll help shape and deliver our membership growth strategy - strengthening our student pipeline, attracting new members, plus developing and selling a new clinic-level membership model. This is a varied, outward-facing role that blends strategy and relationship management with plenty of scope to bring ideas, creativity and energy.

About You: We’re looking for someone who is confident, proactive, ready to make an impact and has:

  • Proven experience in membership development, recruitment or a similar growth-focused role.
  • A strong understanding of target-driven delivery.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience delivering campaigns and improving member journeys.
  • A proactive, organised and professional approach.
  • Experience within professional bodies, not-for-profits, education or membership.
  • Confident in using a CRM to track campaigns and sales pipelines.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: As our membership focused Development Executive, you will lead on the delivery of member recruitment and engagement activity, helping to grow a strong, connected professional community. Your work will sit across three core growth pillars:

  • Student Recruitment
    • Strengthen relationships with universities, student representatives and early-career members.
    • Support initiatives to maximise student take-up of free membership.
    • Drive conversion from student to paid membership post-graduation.
    • Working with our Events & Partnerships Manager to deliver events for our student and new grad community.
  • Member Acquisition
    • Deliver targeted campaigns and value-led propositions to attract new members.
    • Engage chiropractors currently outside professional association membership.
    • Support activity aimed at recruiting members of other associations.
  • Clinic-Level Membership
    • Support the development of a scalable clinic-level membership model.
    • Help shape propositions that add value for multi-practitioner clinics.
    • Review and shape at our e-commerce offering for members.

Core responsibilities:

  • Work with the Director of Development and Membership Executive to implement the membership acquisition strategy.
  • Develop and deliver retention initiatives, working closely with the Membership Executive.
  • Build strong relationships with members, education providers and partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver effective membership campaigns.
  • Attend and present at member events and universities across the UK.
  • Work with our Events & Partnerships Manager to deliver events for our student and new grad community.
  • Support the Student Committee.
  • Deliver against annual membership growth and engagement targets.
  • Track performance, analyse results and continuously improve campaigns and journeys.
  • Support the wider development teams events and corporate engagement activities.

Benefits: Working remotely with an option for full, or part time hours and a range of benefits including:

  • Flexible working policy, supporting work–life balance
  • Generous holiday allowance, plus bank holidays
  • Pension contribution and private health insurance
  • Annual wellness budget to support your physical and mental wellbeing
