Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8am-5pm or 8.30am-5.30pm

Main purpose of the role: Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for cars? Join BCA as a Vehicle Appraiser and become part of the UK’s largest used vehicle remarketing business. In this role, you’ll play a key part in preparing vehicles for sale by producing accurate, high-quality condition reports and images for our online platform. Using our in-house systems, you’ll assess vehicles against BCA grading and cost standards—ensuring every vehicle is represented accurately for our customers.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Carrying out detailed vehicle appraisals
  • Capturing high-quality vehicle images using mobile devices
  • Producing accurate, costed condition reports in line with BCA standards
  • Meeting daily targets for inspections and imaging
  • Keeping up to date with customer standards and inspection processes
  • Recommending value-enhancing services where appropriate
  • Safely moving vehicles around site in line with all safety procedures
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and following health & safety guidelines

To be successful, you’ll bring the following with you:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in an active, outdoor role
  • A team player who can also work independently
  • Positive, proactive attitude
  • Interest or experience in the automotive industry
