British Business Funding is growing fast, and we are looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Broker / Commercial Finance Professional to join our team at our Bromley HQ. If you have already worked in commercial finance (broker or lender-side) and you know how to structure deals, build relationships, and deliver results - we want to hear from you.
The role involves working with UK SMEs to understand their needs and match them with the right funding solutions, managing the process from initial enquiry through to completion. You will be supported by a motivated team, strong systems, and a business that is serious about quality and customer outcomes.
What you will be doing:
- Handling inbound and outbound opportunities and qualifying client needs
- Packaging and structuring deals for lenders (and presenting confidently)
- Managing the full pipeline: enquiry β proposal β underwriting β completion
- Building relationships with lenders and introducers
- Maintaining accurate CRM notes and keeping clients updated throughout
- Hitting targets while keeping service standards high
What we are looking for (must-haves):
- Minimum 1 year's experience in commercial finance (either broker or lender side)
- Strong understanding of products such as: business loans, asset finance, invoice finance and trade finance (depth in one area is fine, broad knowledge is a plus)
- Proven ability to manage a pipeline and close deals
- Confident communicator - phone, email, and in-person
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working to targets
Working arrangement:
- Office-based full-time to start (Bromley HQ) so you are fully embedded and up to speed
- Flexible working options available once established (role dependent and performance-based)
