THE ROLE
The British Growth Partnership (BGP) builds on the Bank’s existing activities to bring to market a new investment vehicle aimed at attracting pension fund capital to invest in growth assets. A key aspect of the delivery of BGP is the establishment of Patient Capital Advisory Services (PCAS) which is seeking permission from the FCA to act as regulated investment adviser. As the Senior Manager, Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving the development of client mandates through market analysis, strategic insights, development of detailed product ideas, and collaboration with key stakeholders. You will also need to provide focus on aligning strategies with investor needs, and contributing to data-driven decision-making to deliver value and impact across the organisation.
A key aspect of the role will require you to lead the market engagement with some stakeholders as part of the broader agreed strategy, including potential for international engagement, as well as being the lead for working level engagement with government officials on BGP, gathering input and maintaining support for current and future strategies.
With proven experience in strategy, research, or market analysis, preferably within financial services, you will also be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. A knowledge of client mandates, investment structures, or similar frameworks is also required.
