From April, we will be embarking on the delivery of our Five-year Strategic Plan to create a step change in financing support for smaller businesses across the UK.
As a Senior Manager within the Strategy and Policy team, you will help develop and deliver the overall strategy for the Bank. You will engage closely with government and industry stakeholders, and help translate government policy priorities into action to support the growth of smaller businesses across the UK. Reporting to the Director – Strategy, you will lead work on priority projects with complex challenges, ranging from delivering support to priority sectors, crowding institutional capital into the UK venture market and tackling structural barriers holding back the potential of smaller businesses in the UK. As a Senior Manager you will collaborate closely with and bring together colleagues across the Bank, from front office product teams to operations, communications and economics teams.
It is essential that you have previous experience of working in a Strategy role and a proven ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders. You will be fluent in PowerPoint, Word and Excel and it is desirable that you understand how Government departments work.
