The Role
In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of the Internal Audit for the front office Investment and Banking business areas, including compliance risk for the regulated investment business. Support the leadership of audit delivery across the audit plan and full audit universe, bringing specialist insight in banking, investments and compliance risk, to support effective delivery of the full audit programme. Reporting to the Managing Director for Internal Audit, the role holder will provide audit leadership and subject matter domain expertise in governance, risks and control frameworks in the front office Investment and Banking business areas as well as provide SME knowledge for compliance risk and control frameworks for the regulated investment business. You will also provide leadership to the internal audit team across the delivery of the full audit universe and Internal Audit plan.
To be considered for this role you will bring internal audit leadership experience in banking, investment programmes, or financial services, with the ability to critically assess the effectiveness of financial product controls, investment and compliance risk management. Experience across multiple financial services instruments or lending models is desirable. E.g. direct equity and fund investments and portfolio management; wholesale banking direct guarantees, structured guarantees; lending.
