Role Overview

This critical role will enable the BBC to increase consumption of its digital products and services by delivering MarTech capabilities through a newly acquired Customer Data Platform (CDP). The person will define marketing & media use cases within the CDP, shape the product roadmap, and manage its adoption within the BBC’s MarTech stack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with CRM, Owned Media, and Paid Media to gather requirements and advise on value unlocking.
  • Identify and ingest user data, content metadata, and campaign data into the CDP.
  • Maintain data egress to external partners for campaigns (e.g., Airship, APIs, Paid Advertisers).
  • Collaborate with Data teams to optimize platform access, data ingest/egress, and hosting.
  • Provide campaign tracking and measurement aligned with BBC analytics platforms.
  • Enable campaign creation, orchestration, and activation across channels.
  • Oversee daily operations and administration of the CDP during and after integration.
  • Ensure integration with wider martech and adtech stack.
Candidate Profile

The candidate should have experience working with CDPs (preferably mParticle), influence stakeholders, and manage technical teams. Responsibilities include unifying user data, optimizing campaigns, and ensuring smooth operations and compliance.
