Your work underpins critical production and newsgathering, helping deliver content that informs, entertains, and connects audiences everywhere.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND IMPACT• Oversee forward planning and coordination of vehicle maintenance and compliance across transport bases• Ensure all fleet vehicles—from pool cars to large OB trucks—remain roadworthy, efficient, and cost effective• Liaise with suppliers to secure timely, high quality, and value driven services• Act as named Transport Manager on the Operator Licence for relevant traffic areas• Collaborate with operational leaders to meet changing production and broadcasting requirementsYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE – KEY CRITERIA ESSENTIAL CRITERIA• Strong experience managing statutory compliance within complex or regulated transport environments• Proven ability to operate strategically while solving operational problems hands on• Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to tailor complex information for varied stakeholders• Experience managing regulated vehicle operating centres and driver hours frameworks• Demonstrable practical experience ensuring maintenance and roadworthiness of large vehiclesDESIRABLE CRITERIA• Certificate of Professional Competence for Transport Managers (Road Haulage) Level 3• IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent health & safety qualifications• Understanding of programme making or newsgathering operational needs• LGV1 driving licence• Experience promoting and supporting sustainable transport approachesIf you can bring some of these skills and experience, along with transferable strengths, we’d love to hear from you and encourage you to apply.
