Responsibilities
- Oversee forward planning and coordination of vehicle maintenance and compliance across transport bases
- Ensure all fleet vehicles remain roadworthy, efficient, and cost effective
- Liaise with suppliers to secure timely, high quality, and value-driven services
- Act as named Transport Manager on the Operator Licence for relevant traffic areas
- Collaborate with operational leaders to meet changing production and broadcasting requirements
Key requirements
- Strong experience managing statutory compliance within complex or regulated transport environments
- Proven ability to operate strategically while solving operational problems hands on
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to tailor complex information for varied stakeholders
- Experience managing regulated vehicle operating centres and driver hours frameworks
- Demonstrable practical experience ensuring maintenance and roadworthiness of large vehicles
