We are looking to recruit a Participation and Physical Activity Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of a broad range of easily accessible, high quality opportunities to take part in sport and physical activity. This role will also focus on engaging wider groups to participate in sport and physical activity.

About Participation and Physical Activity Co-ordinator
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

The University of Leeds Sport and Physical Activity strategy aims to enable more of the University of Leeds community to benefit from the positive impacts of sport and physical activity.
Contributing to this work, we are looking to recruit a Participation and Physical Activity Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of a broad range of easily accessible, high quality opportunities to take part in sport and physical activity. This role will also focus on engaging wider groups to participate in sport and physical activity.
You will play an important role in the Physical Activity and Wellbeing team working to demonstrate clearly how sport and physical activity is a central pillar in improving and supporting the physical and mental health of the university community, and will deliver inclusive products, programmes and initiatives that reflect the needs of the diverse student and staff population. You will be part of a diverse team of both staff and volunteers, overseeing the indoor and outdoor sport and physical activity programmes. You will work with colleagues in the Sport and Physical Activity Service, as well as collaborating with other groups and organisations to increase the breadth of opportunities to be active on and off campus.
This role is based at The Edge on the University of Leeds campus. On occasion and with prior notice, you will be required to work on evenings and weekends.
